Thimzy is a village that symbolizes a young woman who, after overcoming numerous challenges, triumphantly soared to success. Rising like a lioness, relying on her inner strength to provide protection for itself and it followers and like an eagle, she exhibits resilience, flying high with perseverance, she consistently explore opportunities transformation. she makes the most of her time, holding onto hope and innovation while embodying resilience and perseverance. Embracing her youth, she actively takes on the role of empowerment, spreading her wings across the four corners of Sierra Leone. She strives to reach communities where women and girls reside, delivering a message of hope to build the confidence and resilience for peaceful co-existence, meaningful participation, inclusive growth, and productivity.
In the village, vulnerable young women and girls would have access to opportunities that enable them to thrive in various aspects of life, including, education, economic security, and sexual reproductive health right. In addition, the village will create a supportive environment that enhances the potential of women and girls, leverage on community resources, and structures.
This will encourage vulnerable young women and girls to exercise their rights and take on roles and responsibilities as much as men, run businesses, and hold positions of influence within their communities. Furthermore, empowerment, gender equality, and social justice, are the underlining components that will be use to drive transformation.
