The founder and Executive Director, Fatmata Fathima Kamara on behalf of Thimzy Empowerment Initiative had the privilege of participating in the National Youth Commission’s one-month training program on Youth Entrepreneurship and Growth Development Program, which was sponsored by UNDP-SL and facilitated by the Global Youth Network for Empowerment and Development in Sierra Leone. The training program aimed to equip young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish and grow their businesses successfully.
She emerged as one of the winners of the pitching competition held at the end of the training program and was awarded a cash prize. This recognition was a testament to Thimzy’s dedication and hard work during the training program, and it was an honor to be recognized among the talented group of participants.
